A) No! Stack-A-Buoy® is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Unlike foam, HDPE is non-porous plastic, the same material that is used to make heavy duty chemical resistant plastic pails etc.

A) Our unique patented design, which allows the buoys to be conveniently stacked one on top of the other incorporates a space saving feature of up to 30%. This can be significant when your storage space is limited.

A) Technically speaking, HDPE is dishwasher safe. However, your personal safety may be jeopardized if your wife catches you placing buoys in her dishwasher. The colors are embedded directly into the plastic, so painting should not be necessary. Spray washing or scrubbing with an eco-friendly detergent is recommended.
